Seen some buck sign near Pilgrims Rest Church on the NF the other day. Small but was fresh.
A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.

Week before last on the A Zone (during the week long muzzleloader hunt) there were a lot of super fresh scrapes, like everywhere you looked.
I live basically on the B Zone (like the Mountain Longleaf Refuge is my back yard). I walked a TON on the Refuge last week, and scouted for 3 hours on the Heflin side of the B Zone this past Friday. I didn't see ANY scrapes, frankly saw very little general deer sign.
My buddies hunted the B Zone every day of that muzzleloader hunt and the two of them saw a total of 3 deer (and these are good hunters who both kill bucks there every season). Something seems to be up with the B Zone, almost worries me there was a kill off or something.
I hunted B Zone on the rifle hunt Saturday morning, heard two shots total all morning.
Your mileage may vary, but that's just my experience the past two/three weeks.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.
