I’ve camped at several small campgrounds around demopolis and never had a issue.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I’ve camped all over skyline. Never had any trouble other than someone broke in one time and to the best of my knowledge just stole some food. Which honestly didn’t bother me at all. Crackers were stale.😬

We had an Aldeer campout at Skyline in the Little Coon Creek campground several years back. We had no trouble and had a blast
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

Back in the 1990's, we camped at several of the WMA hunter camps. Oakmulgee, Barbour, Choccolocca, Skyline, Kinterbish, Hollins, Lamarion, etc. Never had any problems per say, but it's hard to sleep with 50 or so, twenty something year old drunks in the surrounding camps. If you want to sleep, camp on the fringe of the campground or with only older hunter/campers nearby, as they tend to be a little quieter on average at 1:00 am. If you're there to party, drank, and be loud, by all means get right in the middle of the clump.

Never had a problem at Bankhead, camped at all 3 places there. Met JDbowhunter there, him and his family are super nice people. Lies
