I fertilized my plots yestrday. We don’t need this trying to get a crop out but might as well use it on some positive side

Ive only seen one field of corn around here that has been picked. I cant understand what theyre waiting on. Most of it has the tops broke out from all the wind we had a couple weeks ago. Corn was still standing where I hunt on Wheeler when I was there last week. Wonder if it will still be there by opening...

We finished all corn yesterday. It was like a huge relief. Started on early beans and Defoliated some cotton. Maybe falls a comin

We spread a few tons of seed and fertilizer today, looks like we hit it just right if we can keep a little rain now and then

We had a little over 8” of rain since Tuesday. It’s time for that front to pass to move all this crap outa here. My yard is so soft, I have to where rubber boots if I have to go out in it.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Every day next five days, except tomorrow which is 80%. I actually thought it was fixin to turn off dry. That's what the forecast was showing just a few days ago.....Glad they changed it.......I guess I'll go get some seed tomorrow

From what a man told us at the shop this week, the moisture is still too high. Guess that's from the rain we got a week or so ago. If we get a significant wind event, the corn crop here is done for.
