Just a heads up to anyone that's going to be at the coast and wants to go, the numbers came up short and charter boats on the GOM will able to fish from Oct. 15th through Nov. 5th.

Was the shortfall in quota numbers in the grand total inclusive of both private/recreational and charter or did they actually come up short on just the charter allocation side? Charter side

Anyone know of a boat that only takes a max of 6 people out around Ft. Morgan to Orange Beach area. If you go with Getaway Charters out of zekes I'll be your deckhand!

I booked through zekes as walk on they didn't say anything specific besides it could be a 6 person or 15 person boat 6 hour trip? There's a bunch of different six pack and multi boats down there that take walk ons, what day are you going out?

Is this just for charters with Fed reef permits, doesn't include six pack? Pretty sure it is. I don' think it has closed yet in state waters.

Your twisting words around, I've never heard of an inshore guided boat being referred to as a six-pack vessel. Y'all must do things a different in FL.
