I have a 2014 Polaris ace SXS that I just finished up and it runs great, but the rear caught on fire due to a recalled part that I fixed then replaced all electrical components on the engine and rear part of the atv, but now no plastics. I could order the rear plastics and make this thing look close to show room but I think camo vinyl the front end and build a small steel flatbed on the back, gun racks the works for hunting. This of a 4x4 with the wheelbase of a atv but you have a seat windshield and roof, it would be the ultimate hunting machine but not sure if potential buyers would appreciate it. I have a Polaris Crew 900xp with a steel flatbed I built and I love it but it is as big as a 4Runner. I do think I am going to sell the ace it only has 40 hrs on the engine, but not sure if to make it all stock or make the ultimate hunting machine!

If Polaris is anything like John Deere building a machine part by part will cost you 10x more than a brand new machine. I would fix it as cheap as possible and let someone have a one of a kind.

It is true that when I am buying a atv or SXS to fix up I would rather have a blown engine than bad plastics, they are high.
