Don’t think gas burners have Allison in them. The new 6.6 have all the afm garbage unlike the 6.0’s.

Don’t think gas burners have Allison in them. The new 6.6 have all the afm garbage unlike the 6.0’s. Are you sure they have AFM? Everything I have read says they don't. That is one of the reasons I am looking at the 3/4 vs 1/2 ton.

The L8T 6.6L engine is not equipped with Active Fuel Management (AFM), Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM), or Auto Stop-Start.
