Ran across this and if it works against Delta would be cheap and dual purpose. Good reason not to push it if it works, right. Cheap and approved drug way before Covid came along:

Israel already has done a lab trial. Look it up! It causes no major side effects and already has a human cell trial on Covid and Beta variant. Can't we get a trial here at UAB to see how it works on the new Delta Variant being it is running rampant in our state. Could be a life saver if it breaks up the virus cell, similiar to the vaccine, but without the poke.

Well, if you're on Fenofibrate like I am, that probably means your cholesterol is out of whack like mine is. I say that semi joking of course. I think it's great that they have a potentially new drug to combat this virus.

I read that most of the cholesterol statin drugs help with fighting the virus.

BPI.. How long you been on Fenofibrate, and have you had Covid?


When plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine) was all the rage last year, I ask every patient I saw that was on it for Lupus/RA/autoimmune issues, if they have ever had Covid. Only had 2 people out of several hundred have Covid that was on plaquenil.

Gonna start asking folks that take Fenofibrate now.

So with this drug the virus will kill less than the 0.01% it currently kills?
My problem with all this stuff is that about 100 other things we live with daily are more dangerous than covid yet we completely changed our lives over the china flu and dont care about the other stuff

I've been on 2 cholesterol statins for about 10 years Fenofibrate being on of them. Also on Lisinopril for BP.

I had covid back in September of 20 and had very mild symptoms ( was 49 years old at that time ).

Statin's aren't good for you. And if you look, they have manipulated the cholesterol numbers to make it nearly impossible to hit them without taking a statin.

They are good for you when your cholesterol / heart disease risk outweighs the side effects of statins. People have to look at the big picture when choosing to take / not take any medications or vaccines, then make the decision that's best for them.

I'll probably be labeled a Biden supporter now that me being on statins is out in the open !

Imo based on everything we have learned the last 18 months the ultimate way that the Laboratory Kung Flu is going to be beat is by superior medical treatments and pharmacology and not vaccines. And by people developing natural immunity.

I think you got the decimal point off two places. if you divide the 36milion that got it with the 600k that died. you get .016 which is 1.6%. a hundred times higher than what you thought but still nothing to panic over.
