Hang in there Fur. Ive been there. That nerve block is your friend for now.
Therapy will come. You timed it right so you should be done in time for the season.
Doc. Put a 10 mm router bit in my shoulder and cleaned out the spurs.
Therapy isnt fun,but it works.

I wasn't prepared for this level of pain. I'm calling them as soon as they open for different pain meds. Lortab 5's-325 are doing me about as much good as Tic Tacs would. I've had ice on it constantly since !:00 am and my Delt still feels like it's going to explode. Wait until the Physical Terrorist gets ahold of you. Hopefully yours (like mine) is Hump Day material and helps keep your mind off the fact they are trying to kill you.

Unless there is some miraculous improvement between now and then, it's gonna be turribul.

Prayers for a full and rapid recovery Thnaks How’s your shoulder feeling? Pain better? Double stacking Lortab 5's. Got a script for Toradol this morning and it's helped. Doesn't hurt now too bad if I don't move it. Percocet script is on it's way home from B'ham. I've had 4 hours of sleep since Tuesday night. Percocet makes me loopy as a drunk owl. I've on taken one tablet of it before, but I'm gonna take some tonight.

Hopefully your Doc is better that mine at pain management and gives you something else for pain…mine said I would just have to work through the pain. Had same meds you have and they didn’t even feel like they took a little edge off the pain. Gotta figure out how to get in a “zone” to deal with it.

Hang in ther Fur. Won't be long till I'll need one of mine fixed. Went out on the big pond over the weekend. After 3 fish I had to stop fishing. Couldn't hold the rod. Was a spectator for the rest of the trip.

Praying for you. I’m 14 weeks out from shoulder surgery and it’s still not as strong as it once was but the constant pain is gone and for that I thank the Lord above. Therapy will be rough at first. They ARE goinng to see how far they can move your shoulder the very first day. Or at least they did with me. It was rough but well worth it.
