I’m looking for a seed spreader for my Polaris ranger. I can build a bracket for it to set on in the front. I want to put it in the front and use a cable system to control seed flow. Any brands to stay away from? Biggest two things I want on it, at least 50lb weight capacity and the cable slide system for seed flow control. I can fabricate anything else it would need to have power and mounting brackets.

Moultrie. Do a Search and you will find several discussions. I’ve had the same Moultrie for almost a decade. Wash it out and oil the motor shaft after use.

I have a Moultrie on the front of my Ranger. I used the mounting hardware that came with it that is designed to go on the back of a 4 wheeler. I had to drill a couple of holes to make it work.
Hint: If you are going to spread fertilize put a shield between the spreader and Ranger.

I use an All Seasons road feeder. Does everything you ask for, but uses an electric motor with a spring loaded spin plate rather than a cable slide. Available in 50 and 100 lb sizes. I use the 100 lb unit.
