My 18 year old girl flipped her car two days ago. Too fast and wet road, nothing I can tell her she didn't figure out the hard way. Flipped end over end. Total loss on the car but walked away with a broke arm and a LOT of bruising. Here's where I'm proud. She's going back to work today although she looks like she's drug behind a truck. I told her she didn't need too but insisted because she has to buy a car now. I bought all three their first ride, after that it's on them and they know cause I told them. Just made me feel good knowing that she knows what she wants and has to do.

Good deal

I think yer kids driving cars scares me just about as bad as anything else they do or are exposed to. Glad she's relatively ok.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

No doubt. It is statistically the most dangerous thing 95% of them will do.

Glad the young lady was able to walk away.

No question about it. My heart stopped when she called me at work and I couldn't understand a word she was saying. I knew she had wrecked. A man stopped when he saw her trying to get out of the car and called me also. It was my neighbor. I nearly puked

Glad to hear she was not injured more seriously.

Dadgum, I’m glad to hear that wreck wasn’t any worse than it was. Sounds like y’all raised a good girl with a great work ethic.

Sounds like she was wearing a seatbelt and it probably saved her life. Glad she is going to be okay. Valuable lesson learned at a young age for sure.

Glad she's ok! That could've been so much worse!

I'm in the market now. My son was in a minor accident over in Starkville yesterday. Tore the front up pretty good and it's gonna cost way more than the vehicle is worth to fix it (05 Trailblazer with 179K miles). Debating on just letting them fix it instead of spending 10K on a college vehicle. Mainly because the wife is needing a new vehicle. Hers is older than either of my kids and we need something to tote grandkids around in now.

Son is a full time student and no way he's gonna be able to afford a new vehicle. It's the only vehicle he's ever had and he's been driving this one for almost 10 years so I really can't complain too much.
