Any one hunting perry county? I had a 4 pt chasing a doe Sat afternoon. Sunday morning right at day break woods went crazy. I could hardly see it still pretty dary. I could hear deer all around me in my stand. A doe got withing 40 yds and blew. took off blew again. Then 2 more moved within 25 yds and past me. Mr buck slipped by me in a matter of seconds at about 45 yds. Not sure how big but i think it was a decent 8 a have pictures of on trail camera. Not another der after day break.

I hunt in Bibb about 1/4 mile from Perry line. I have seen several mature does but no bucks following them yet.

The 4 pt sat afternoon was right at dark. It came out ahead of the doe but was defintely chasing through pines. Even heard some light grunting. I am off of hwy 14 west of Marion.

I hunt in sprott right beside the old post office. I saw 4 does this past weekend with nothing behinde them but I had a 6pt come in to a grunt and doe in heat he grunted back and puffed up. Also were seeing a lot of different bucks on camera all at nite still but we are are seeing twice as many scrapes as last week. It should get really good here in about 2 weeks.

I have never seen so many scapes on our property. Hopefully this weekend things will get heated up!

I hunt off 14 just past marion towards greensboro and this weekend bucks were chasing hard.Where off 14 are you?

after hwy 23 or before just not sure where that sign is but i hunt all around you both sides of the road

We are close to where 29 comes into 154, about 5 miles south of Stump Hollow Deer processor.

We've had little bucks chasing so far, but the big boys have yet to start.
