Last year I bought some shrink tubing that was really more durable and did an awesome job covering my Summit climbing treestand cables! Well, after using the "better/more durable" shrink tubing, the dang cables were too thick to fit into the stand. (Don't know what else to call it. The narrow grove before the cable enters into the stand?).
Seems like someone bought some shrink tubing somewhere that worked and fit into the groves of the Summit climbing stand.
I guess I could spend $80 for 8 pieces of shrink tubing that does work. Just trying to save money and find more durable shrink tubing!
Anyone know the manufacturer, size, etc... of what works with the Summit cables? I know Summit is a popular climbing stand and I love my Summit.... the shrink tubing is just too delicate and it doesn't last hardly one season before it needs replacing.
Thanks!

Why not just by the cables They aren’t that expensive
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Yeah that was me. I bought 500 ft of CPX 300 3/4” heat shrink tubing in the October 2016. I sold a bunch here at cost and I’m still using it to replace mine each year. The best way is to just buy in bulk and sell what you do t need. I’ve got enough left for several more seasons
To answer your quest… 3/4” black CPX 300 I bought it from here in 2016:
