Son was in the pasture today and saw armyworms. They were really tearing it up. Mixed up three sprayings with Bifen and looks like they are on the defensive now.
Better check your hayfields and pastures because they can sure lay waste to a tract very quick.
I can't stand a thief.

These are fall armyworms. They want grass mainly. But we triggered sprays on soybeans today.

We had some sunflowers and millets with army worms eating away.
last week we had an 11 acre field the deer have mowed down.
Corn should be close to made so hopefully we’re ok with those fields.

Entomologist recommending a shot of worm treatment when spraying grass borders around bean fields. More occurrences of the grassey variety Armyworms migrating into beans happening.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....
