ALFA is who I typically refer my insureds to when they ask about tractor insurance. They have a good tractor policy.
For those that recommend adding it to homeowners, PLEASE verify that coverage is afforded if it leaves your home address.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

Added mine to my homeowners under my articles policy. It wasn’t too high either. State farms quotw was cheap on mine also adding to homeowners but. It only covered it at my home. It was not covered if i was trailering it to the repair shop. They told me i had to have full coverage auto for that. It didnt cover it if it was at my lake home. It didnt cover it if it was at the hunting lease. So everyone needs to read the fine print if adding to homeowners insurance. I kept the KTAC insurance on my kubota. Its less than $400 a yr and it covers it anywhere ,anytime.

We have maintained the Kubota insurance on our stuff also. Way cheaper than anything else I have found.

But yes it’s important to ask those questions.

My tractor is insured through JD but the company is Sentry Insurance. The guy I spoke with hooked me up with a great policy on my no-till drill when I could not find anyone else to insure that piece of equipment at a reasonable price. I was able to ensure the drill separately as it was not tied to my tractor loan.
