I wish I could find a reliable guy to keep mine cut. I'm going to hate having to buy a mower at my age but damn, you just can't find good help these days. I guess its probably because they can't find good help.

My wife and I enjoy it most of the time. Two commercial ZTRs and haulin ass. Takes us 3.5 hours and I spray the heck of anything that would normally need edged/trimmed. But if we feel like letting a bunch of it go long we can do it as no HOA to deal with. I’ll say this, having a great machine makes a difference How many acres do you cut regularly with the mower?

How many acres do you cut regularly with the mower? Property is 14 acres mostly pasture (probably 13 mowable). Around house and driveway is always mowed but early season we can lay off the rest a couple weeks and then cut it all. But Jul - Sep is mostly a once a week deal unless too wet. It is worth it to have our own piece of paradise. The other thing is that I’m a DoD civilian with a 40 hour per week job. I cant make extra money by working more hours so I’d rather spend that time at the house, thats why I built it. Next time I’d rather have same size lot with 3 - 5 acres mowable.

Piss on mowing. I hate working while I’m not at work That’s what Dad always told Mom, until I got old enough to mow. “I maintain 1000ac of land and 100ac of water, daily. I’m not worried about that 1.5ac of grass around the house when I get home!” A-dang-men!

I don’t know a person in the Ag world that enjoys yard work. After being out in it all day last thing I want is to do that at home. Your dad was spot on. I'm not a full time Ag man, but I love my yard to look pristine and it does. I do it myself. My yard is only 1/2 acre. I put 200 lbs of 15-5-10 on it 3 weeks ago. I put a light dusting of chicken litter on it in March. I cut it Wednesday evening and if it's dry enough about 4 this afternoon it's gonna get cut again. It's TifSport Bermuda. Same grass that's on Jordan Hare field or was at the time I rolled it out. I hand pulled all the crabgrass out of it this morning. It took less than an hour. I went big with chemicals this year, spraying it with Grazon Next three weeks ago. Won't do that again. Burned the piss out of it.

I gots to get a quick stepping zero turn. Lil hand-me down lawn tractor I got don’t go fast enough. It’s been hard to keep up with it this year.

Im gonna buy a big commercial mower in the next couple years…this has been an overall good little mower ..but it aint made for my yard..an veboaid dearly for it. My buddys daddy just booght him a spartan an i like it alot..ill probly do a big toro, pro z cub cadet, or spartan..possibly a kubota.

Cows gotta eat. No sense in mowing much. I can open the gate in the backyard and go into the other 120 acre backyard. LOL
