Since it has gotten hot I am doing a few thing to my new to me boat. Anyone have a place they can recommend to order parts from for a 40hp Mercury? Need to get the impeller replaced and looking for a reliable place to order from. Thanks,

I have ordered a few things over the years for my Mercury outboard on Ebay and Amazon. So far so good

I ordered some parts from Crowley marine for a Yamaha last year. Waited about 2-3 months for parts(not stocked had to order from Japan I presume) and they immediately charged my CC, and after that wait had no parts to show. Kinda irked me so I cancelled the order. Got an email from them a month or so ago basically saying that due to COVID they weren’t getting any parts shipments, they were extremely overwhelmed with order, decreased staff, you know the story. I’ve had to get a couple of parts from the local boat dealer, and really the prices haven’t been that far out of line with online. Going to pay a premium for OEM Yammy stuff either way, reckon I’ll keep the business local.

Common replacement parts like the impeller should be easy to find online, even OEM stuff. The things I needed were kinda less common parts that were missing and/or needed replacement.

Thanks. I read some bad reviews on Crowley marine site about taking forever to ship what they said was in stock. Found what I needed....I think...on Amazon at the quicksilver store. Hopefully I ordered the correct part#. Thanks again

I like northlandmarine.com for trolling motor parts. I'm sure they have other items. Knowledgeable staff, fast shipping good prices
