Personally I like the 2000-2002 era Tundras, also the same year’s Tacoma/4Runners, and the whole first generation Sequoia. What’s your favorite?

I had a 2003 extended cab 4x4 with the 2.7 engine. Bullet proof truck and made with the build quality that can only be found today in the Lexus Brand but it couldn't pull its shadow. I currently hunt with a 2009 double cab 4x4 with the 4.0 6cyl engine. In my humble opinion the 4.0 6cyl is the best all around Toyo engine balancing power and reliability. But the build quality of the 2005-2015 is not up to par with the 1st Gen Taco. The 2016+ Tacoma (3rd Gen) i will never own. Engine is has less power, transmission is jittery and it aint near as tough.

My first vehicle was an 81 toyota pick up. That thing would go any where but was weak with that 22R. I had an 2001 tacoma that was pretty nice. It was more powerful than the 81 but didn't seem to do as well in the mud! After that I grew up from TOYS and started to drive bigger trucks, F150's, Ram 2500, F250.

My new favorite after seeing that video and what that little truck was capable of is the toyota hilux diesel. Would love to have one at the camp to hunt and work out of.

My favorite will always be the first new vehicle I ever owned, a 1988.

I have a buddy with the same truck with over 300,000 on it and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive to California on it tomorrow(except that I ain’t lost a damn thing in California!)

I like old swamp yoda the best. He was old and very wise. This was the most amazing thing ever when I saw it as a kid.

Ive had a 92 a 95 and currently a 2018 tacoma. Anybody that says the 3rd gen. engine is less powerful is full of $h*t. 278 hp and will fly.

Lookin hard for a 2002 black, white or red 4x4 quad cab Tacoma with color matched hard shell. That’s also not $15,000 lol
I guess I’m going to have to go get a new one.

Theres a gold colored extended cab tacoma for sale on 82 just outside of northport. Good looking truck. Looks to be a 2000's model

1st gen Tundra is my favorite. Got a 01 access cab and 06 double cab in the driveway. Both 4x4 with that bullet proof 4.7

We're a yota family. 06 Tundra is mine, 08 Sequoia is wife's, 01 Tundra used to be mine until son turned 16 over 4 years ago, and daughter drives a 01 Avalon. Be hard for me to own a different make vehicle.
