Husqvarna riding mower with 22hp B&S engine. I was mowing this afternoon and it was running like a top. About midway through, it just started running rough and sputtering. I was able to finish mowing by running it on full-choke and as long as it was on full-choke, it ran pretty much like normal, but if I pulled the choke back at all, it would start to sputter and lose power.
What are the Aldeer experts thinking? trash in the carb/fuel filter? Never run anything but ethanol-free in it but I suppose some other debris could've made its way in...

Fuel filter or dirty carb jet That would be my guess - if you run Ethanol gas, you may be causing line problems or jacking up the o-ring seals in the carb.

Fuel filter and then sea foam. I mowed about 4x this year and the mower just didn’t run right. I started to put plugs in it and the first plug wire fell out when I took it off the plug. I pulled the engine cover to find 2 dead rats one plug wire chewed in half plus breather hose and other wires chewed on. I had been running on 1 cylinder the whole time.
