Working on my ski boat just pisses me off. Nothing like having to stand on your head with sweat running in your eyes

About 3 years ago I purchased 34 vats of blow in insulation because: #1, I was tired of a high electric bill, #2, during the dead heat of summer the house was warm during the day even with ac running. I got the wild hair idea to rent the 200+ lb hopper blower. It had a 100 ft 3 to 4 inch flex hose that I had to snake thru the bedroom window, then in thru the closet to the small cutout of the attic where my aluminum ladder let me get up in the attic. My wife would load the hopper and I blew the snot out of some insulation. The insulation thickness before I strted was about 3 to 4 inches, now about 14 inches. I did this in July and yes, the attic was overpowering HOT!!! I'd guess about 130 to 140 degrees up there when I was working blowing that stuff in. To get just a small idea of what I looked and felt like during this process, just google a picture of someone who has been tarred and feathered. Yes, it was THAT BAD!! I'll NEVER do that again. My wife did a bang up job keeping the hopper fed while she was out on the deck with it. It took me 3 days with multiple showers to get all the caked on insulation that had dried to a cement like texture on my skin
On a positive note, my electric bill last month was $80.00 and I have cut my summertime bill over half half when the ac is running all out.

Anything to do with this damn computer not working. Makes me want to take a hammer to it.

Not a diy project but I gave a crackhead manager at McDonald’s a good cussing and threw 8 dollars worth of burgers in the dining room floor 1 at a time , tried to bust the door out of the glass leaving but didn’t pan out . Basically told me I was a liar when the other crackheads left part of my order out of the bag . Felt good and only cost about 10 bucks.

Installing a dish washer...it was not a proud moment. Probably 10 years ago and my wife still brings it up.

I hate crawl spaces completely, except for one. While selling bugs I ran across one that was tall enough to squat in, lit like a basketball court, with a layer of plastic over the dirt. It was the best crawl space on the planet.

I always hated unexpected car/truck repairs the day before needing to go to work the next day. Plenty of opportunities for something to go wrong. No problem with planned repairs though.

Wife walks in at 6pm on Sunday to casually mention, “Oh, by the way my car has been making a strange noise since Tuesday. I keep forgetting to tell you.”

Other than having to make multiple trips to the hardware store, I like plumbing. It's really fairly easy

Mine typically hits me with something like that after I get to work Monday morning. “So and so isn’t working around the house. I forgot to tell you this weekend.” That burns my ass up.
