Have a stack of material leftover I’m not anticipating using. These boards are currently $72/each at Home Depot. Will sell for $50/board so $800 total for the lot.
Wish it was hunting season.....year round

For those fortunate ones that haven’t needed to buy lumber in the past year, here’s the price chart. But don’t worry...those low interest rates will offset the increased building costs 😉.

OSB is 40 bucks a sheet . It jumped from $46-58 one day last week. Not sure what it is right now but it’s too dang much.

About a year and half ago before Covid crap I had a new deck built and just told the contractor to haul off the scrap from the build. I'm kicking my own butt about that decision now.

It's mad. I've got a couple of patients that are builders and they cannot keep up with the demand. Buckhunter is correct. Folks are going with the low interest loans and cutting back on some frills on new builds. Builders are busier than they've been in years. Only problem is getting materials. Folks are saying to hell with the costs of lumber and materials and going crazy on new construction.

I am surprised wood alternatives haven't flooded the market quicker. It was 30% cheaper for me to use plastic shoe molding vs simple wood primed.
