I got the call from Simmons yesterday to say that some small pistol primers had arrived, I had been on their call list for a couple months. Still no LRP have arrived but I have some stashed back anyway. Hopefully things will be a little more plentiful soon,...hopefully anyway.

Good- I've been on the small pistol primer list there for 3 months, haven't heard from them.

Just a fyi, I asked what the current price is on these when they called and its $59.00. I do know that the ammo manufactures did have a price increase starting late March-early April of about 8 to 10%, like everything, prices keep going up, except my paycheck !

How long ago and where? IIRC, the last ones I bought at Simmons sometime last year were $40-$42 maybe? I'll have to double check on that. I write the date and price on the box when I purchase them.
I dont have the magic crystal ball to look thru but I seriously doubt that we will see components at the prices we are used to anymore, I hope Im wrong.

Probably close to two years ago, locally. Was going to buy some more early last year and the limited selection had been priced to $39.99. I decided not to buy any as I thought that too high and I had what I considered at the time, enough. Wish I knew then..... I remember when I first started loading in 2008 buying them for $2.49 a pack at Story's in Opelika.

Glad they are finally showing up. Just hope something stupid doesn't happen and it all gets screwed up again.

And just a fyi for you folks who are still on the list at Simmons, Jeff told me when I picked mine up last weekend that he no longer is calling folks off the list, he said it was too long and had ran out of stock before making a small dent calling folks. I'm Sorry.

Jeff needs to assign that task to someone else. Jeff has too much on his plate. He's been up past midnight many nights trying to order supplies just trying to get anything that becomes available.

Well I'm sorry Simmons has been too busy to call people. I'm going to be too busy to go to Bessemer, I think.

Bet my left nut that you and everyone else will haul ass there ASAP if they have what you need! Primers and powder like Varget are in very limited supply. Jeff and the others field hundreds of calls everyday from people looking for product. I am just grateful that they work hard to get us what we need. So far, I have done well by driving by once a week. No way I would be placing the calls they make either. Why bother? Stuff doesn’t last but a few weeks.
