There's some stateline questions with boats. Where you live, where you plan to doc it. Depends which state it needs to be issued in.

I have full coverage for I believe it is $12,500 through State Farm for $189/yr.

Allstate, I had squirrels eat my wiring harness, battery cables, hydraulic steering hose, and engine harness and they covered it. I've heard bad stories about other Insurance companies not covering rodent damage. It's $300 per year on a $45,000 boat. Cory Bline in Lincoln is my agent.
I ran into the same thing with a popup camper and a chipmunk .....of course Alfa wouldn't cover it...

I have Progressive on my bass boat & pontoon. Both together worth $15K. Full coverage on both $240/yr. This is who I have on mine and been great so far.
