Moving. Holy hell I am worn out. Started at about 7 this morning and just quit. It's amazing how much junk you can accumulate over time. Time for a whiskey drink and I'm getting in the sack You ain’t kidding. I moved myself from Houston last week back home to Mississippi. I couldn’t get everything in the uhaul truck and trailer on the first trip so I had to do a turnaround overnight trip back. Dadgum what a job.

I figured up one time that my wife and I moved something like 15 or 16 times between college and our current home. We've been in it for 16 years. Moving sucks.
One of the moves was to Phoenix and her job paid for the moving. I didn't supervise the packing. We got to Phoenix and they unloaded two 18-wheelers, and a third one was used to ship my truck. Our little townhome garage was filled with boxes other than a rabbit path to the door. When I started unpacking them I discovered a lampshade wrapped in paper in a box about 3x4x3. Almost all the boxes were like that. A lamp, a lampshade, 10 books and so on. At least 10 boxes had nothing but packing paper in them.
They were getting paid by the box, I guess. Unreal.

I moved myself before but paid someone when I moved into my current house. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent.
