What’s the most miles on vehicle you ever purchased ?? I have found a 2010 limited Toyota 4 runner with 197,000 miles for 12k very clean that mileage just scares me.

I bought an 06 Highlander with 130-something. I’m at 312k now with no significant issues.

I’m ok running vehicles up to higher miles but I wouldn’t want to buy a high mileage vehicle unless it came with records or from someone I know.

You need to jump on that 4Runner. Those are the ones I’ve got my daughters when they were 15. First one had 190000 on a 2002 and she drove it 8 years til 249 and never wrecked it and I sold it for 4000 more than I paid but it was 4wd. Second was a 2009 with 164000 paid 13 in 2013 it’s got 204000 now and I will sell it in June when she graduates from Troy in may. Nothing major just good maintenance and tires.

Im a nerd..ive said it before...that vehicle has the 4.0L v6...there are few engines in this world in my oppinion...that..have as close to an immortal lifespan as you can get...in my oppinion...the toyota 4.0v6,3.4Lv6,4.7Lv8,5.7Lv8..and about ever 4cy they ever made...along with the 12 valve cummins..and 7.3 powerstroke..these..an probly some mercedes engines..were the ones they should have quit on..stop..we got it right..now leave it alone. If that vehicle has been maintained well..and you do the same..i have no doubt you could see 350-500k miles...its expensive..but look around..what aint...the new(ish) counterpart to that vehicle used is dang near the cost of a new one. In todays world...new is a pipe dream..buy older...an make it like new...much better quality...and youll get what you ultimately want and pay for in the end. I have a 2003 tundra 4x4..its knockin on 200k..im about to have the timing belt changed, front end rebuilt, new tires, and a leveling kit...ill make it like new eventually...its my pirate ship, space shuttle..home on wheels...its a rollin motel and i love it..ill make it mine..it will be unique..and when i drive by..youll know its me..and not just another....TOAD ON THE ROAD🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

2004 sequoia bought with 280k miles. I’ve driven it up to 312k. So far, this is my favorite car ever. Beats the hell out of a car payment. Parts are plentiful and reasonable. You will have some maintenance bills though.

These Toyota’s are built to last.

Btw, 200k miles on a Toyota is much different than a Ford or Chevy.

I just missed out on a 97 Z71 extended cab with 240k miles on it. I wanted it pretty bad. I was just busy and couldn’t get to look at it in person on time. Pretty sick over it

I bought an F150 with 195,000 miles on it and have made a few repairs here and there but nothing you would t expect. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy an older Toyota with that many miles.

At 4500 I think the price is high because comes with rebuilt engine to install. Kinda odd but known to be good people.

Ive had three vehicles in the past ten years go over 300000. Bought one with 270000 on it. I can think of two vehicles close to here i know have 500000 on them, one is a toyota tundra, the other a f250 with the 7.3

I sold my 92 Chevy Z71 a couple of years ago when it had 460,000 on it. Wish I had it back.

I would not think twice about jumping in either one and going across the country.
