Looks like they've moved it due to the bad weather in TX.

Those fish in Eufaula should be ready to bust and feeding hard before the spawn. Potential to post some huge weights is there if they get just a little warm weather.

The weather forecast shows temps in the 60s next week for there. Maybe they will pull some pigs out. Better than this week for sure. I was looking at the Toyota series on Guntersville a min ago and it was some tough fishing. Only 46 of 212 pros caught a limit. 39 lbs is leading as of today (day 2).

After this weeks cold weather, if the temps move into the 60s as predicted and they get a little sunshine, there will be a huge push of fish up onto the flats and stupid weights and numbers will be possible in the “catch as many as you can” format. Someone could easily break 100lbs in a day if they are in the right area and conditions are right.

Agree with abolt300. The potential is there for a blowout week if the sun shines and nighttime temps stabilize in the 50s for 3-4 days.

I always enjoyed fishing at Eufaula. You can put in at the state park in spring and within just a few minutes be catching something. Heck, I've walked around the riprap at the launch and caught fish throwing topwaters and swimming a jig.

We went up today and fished and met a few of the guys. The water is very very muddy.

High school tournament there last Saturday. It SUCKED! Out of 83 teams only 29 had any fish. Of those 29 boats 5 had the 5 fish limit and 16 boats only had 1 fish. There were some solid teams that did not boat a fish. It was pretty muddy all the way to Cheneyhatchee. Water temp was 49 - 51 degrees. We tried ledges, points, docks, grass, rip rap with multiple baits/colors. We would see fish on the electronics but nothing would bite. I will be following the MLF to see what works for them because I dang sure couldn't figure it out.

Last week was tough conditions. With them not eating last week, and the better weather this week, they will be chewin. I expect some good bags this week.

This lake is fixing to explode. My bet is the big one are super shallow spawning by this weekend with the 70 temps. We are going to get after them Saturday and Sunday. It’s going to be good
