Some roses and made her a pot of coffee before I left. Think she liked the pot of coffee better.

We kept it pretty low key at home. Wife has the covid. I cooked breakfast this AM. Seared some filets tonight.

Think I heard you can’t be infected by the covid unless you have close contact for like 5 minutes or something another.

Meaning I should be able to get round 1 in tonight, no problem grin

Valentines is a holiday for card and and candy makers, but since we had to eat tonight we ate damn good. She knows I love her and I know she loves me. She did ask me to stop by the IGA for broccoli on the way home from the farm this afternoon so I bought her a cookies and cream pie from the frozen section.

We split a case of the rona and are engaged in a coughing and complaining contest. She’s winning the coughing but I’m holding my own with the complaining

I can’t even smell or taste good bourbon.

Not hard to win this time of year. Hunting seasons slowing down, at home doing the honey-do's, cooking and not burning up the roads.

A cheap ass ten dollar orchid from sam's, a bag of king crab, a card and take her to a new place where she can see the stars at night. Prolly better than anything else was letting her know about making free and easy cards for kids at St. Judes. https://www.stjude.org/get-involved/other-ways/online-card-message-patients.html

Own that shucks even if it's half ass - don't be arrogant - quite the opposite, do it with understated elegance. That = class.
