Swamp Gator and Bugguns. I’ve probably misspelled the last one. Both work on gnats.

The chicken killing bull gnats down here last year would laugh at a thermacell. The homemade vanilla extract brew only worked a little. The buggins vanilla spray was a little better.

No kidding. They were horrible everywhere I hunted last year. Couldn't get away from them no matter what part of the state I went to.

They were bad for sure. Both worked good tho.

They were terrible last year. I tried vanilla extract (it helped a little), thermacell (nothing), cutter (nothing), repel (nothing), off (nothing), no matter what % of deet. Campbell's Hardware in Robertsdale had some stuff in the sporting goods I believe called Gnatsoff. Smelled great (not vanilla) and was by far the most effective. I know it had rosemary as an ingredient.

Picardin, it's not just for black biting flies. Get it in 20% formula. Off has some and I found it at Wally World in a company called Sawyer's.

I’d really like to get a mix and mix it myself to use for knats, flies, ticks, and mosquitoes. Put it in spray bottles.

Maybe get some of that swamp spray and some permarethrine”SP?” Along with whatever else. Mix it all up in one bottle and use it. Lol

A thermacell will not work on them. Last year we mixed some type of spray that had vanilla in it. I will try to get the recipe. It works great getting rid of them.

100 % serious. Used by Cajun rice farmers. I use it too, allergic to them and it stops them in their tracks.

This is what I use as well. You smell like a $2 whore, but it will keep the gnats away.
