Finally got around to scoring my wife’s deer. I scored it at 127.5 and I’m prob off an inch or two either way. I used a fabric tape measure. Most of my friends guessed 130-135. It’s a good deer for us either way. Before, during and after pics... https://imgur.com/a/GRs1JGt

Great buck! I use a thin steel cable or an old phone charger cable when I measure them. Congrats to her!

Congrats to your wife on a fine Bama buck. Lotta people need to look real hard at the pictures of that buck. He scores 127 and some change. People need to use that for a reference before they look at the 110-115" buck they shot and start telling people its around a 130. A 130" deer is a really really good buck. Once again. Congrats to both you and her. Fine deer. I'll second ALL of that! What a sharp and unique buck. Tremendous Southern whitetail!

Thank y’all, she’s hunted with me for 5 years now and killed a few smaller 7’s and 8’s and some does. This is the first year I’ve convinced her to hunt mornings, and we enjoyed several 8-12 sits with much better results than ALL evening hunts. Turkey pic and stories about my pawpaw is for another day. Maybe before turkey season... We have way to many shoulder mounts, but we did consider a shoulder mount until she found out how much they are!!
