Not I. Not Yet. Probably won’t shoot another little buck tomorrow but hey, you never know. I got one more spot and one more day. You know since there is a limit to strive for. Back when you could kill all the bucks you wanted I think less were killed. Restrictions make people more greedy and strive to limit out every season.

Since when does AL issue tags? . Well, it started this year if you take your deer to a processor. If you process your own at the camp or behind the house, all bets are off. I can still kill 1 buck and ever how many does they allow. I haven't killed a doe in several years, I'll let others do it, I just don't feel like fooling with them.

I killed my 3 bucks this season. I usually only try to kill 2 deer to make sausage with. I made a trip in early December and killed an 8pt and a doe. I had my sausage meat but hunted the last afternoon of the trip because I don’t like not hunting if I’m at the camp. Well this is when that 200lb 10pt did what it was supposed to do. Now I had 3 deer killed. I then decided I wanted to kill a deer with my dad’s old 30-30. A few days before we were scheduled to come home I killed a nice 8pt with it. Turned out to be the best season yet.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I wonder how many people try to kill 3 now just so they can be "tagged out"? We had 7 shooters on camera. 1 never made a daylight appearance. 2 got broken up fighting and were removed from list. My son and I killed the other 4. According to my cameras, if they can stay hidden from the neighbors on one side until Thursday, we're going to have some survivors that should be shooters next year. I happen to have killed 3 of them because I had a little more time to hunt. He killed 1 other buck that we weren't targeting with his bow. It was his first bow buck.

I wonder how many people try to kill 3 now just so they can be "tagged out"? I have a friend that does that and no way I would hunt with him.. Every year he says he holding out for big bucks and every year he shoots little bucks..

As I said I just want to make sausage but if they walk out and they are big enough they gonna get shot at. Back when I was a younger man and was really mad at em, I’d kill my limit of 6 bucks here at home and would try to kill the limit in any other state I hunted in. Now that was for bragging rights. That’s way to much work now that I’ve gotten much wiser.

I think I’ve kill my limit every year since they made it 3, and usually a couple doe’s. We eat a lot of deer meat and have several people that always want one but they don’t hunt.
