I think I like pot calls better, but I just got a new box by David Halloran. A bit pricey, but it sure sounds good. I'm ready to see how it performs this spring. Been wanting to get some of David’s stuff just too pricey for me. Beautiful and sound great. He’s a top notch caller and call maker

I have Reynolds that I really like and it’s cost some gobblers their lives. Been using one of his box calls for around 5-6 years, having a hard time using anything else. .
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Well after crushing my dixie darling and pulling all the strings I could to get a new one and striking out I purchased a lil Jenny with a purple heart lid. It's quickly becoming my favorite call in my vest ! Really well built and lower profile than most box calls. I left it by a tree yesterday morning and I drove an hour back out there to get it...couldn't let er get rained on..

Birmingham Lynch Foolproof
Gobblers Knob calls are good, different sound I bought my wife a Liberty Ms Lynch Foolproof many years ago. I went thru 8-10 calls and picked the best. It is as good or better than my old Bham call.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I still like my old Ben lee box but I really don’t use a box much anymore.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I have both a short box and long box that Halloran made. Two good boxes for sure. I have been trying to get my hands on some Camp boxes that were made when Doug was still alive. I’ve got a signed 2001 but not sure I would part with it. Never carried a box call in the woods in my life.

an original Remington-branded Magnum Strutter (all wood, not the later waterproof model which were horrible & sounded awful IMO) - bought on a lark/close-out at Walmart for pennies in the late '90's altho other boxes have replaced it & i hunt mainly with them now -- this one began my love of box calls -- i've got way more box calls than i care to admit to

I got a bunch of boxes I bought over years - most of them that were mentioned here. Miss my first lynch foolproof- it messed up and new to me not quit as good - Appalachian and little Jenny I got sound good - several others I got sound good but I don’t use box as much anymore
Peach the hustlin hen by Bill White has unique tone - like that box lot - good for striking one up
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

I went to see Ben Lee a few times when he first started promoting his calls. I still hunt with the twin hen and a gobblin box. I sometimes take 2 or 3 to get different sounds.
