My 85 year old Grandmother tested positive today. She got her first vaccine last week. not enough time to have developed immunity and she would need the second dose for the full immunity. Sorry for your grandmother she will be in my prayers.

Whic is okay since the virus is 99.7% survivable Just don't complain when portions of your lungs turn into something that resembles ground glass. Or the possible permanent damage to your heart, kidneys, and/or liver because of the microscopic blood vessels that have burst from the blood clots the virus releases. Tex, I think you have nailed this one......... Everybody has to make their own decision. I dont criticize anybody for their own decisions, mask/no mask.....vaccine/no vaccine....its an individual's decision to weigh their own facts and make whatever they feel is best. With all that said, It bothers me when people throw out the “Why take a vaccine with the mortality rate is less than 1 percent?” This doesn't tell the whole story. I know a 52 year old man that contracted COVID, the virus itself wasn't that bad but 1 week later he died from a embolism. (as it turns out, this is a side effect of Covid) I know another guy that is 28, officer in the marines. This guy is totally fit, runs 3-5 miles a day regardless. he got COVID, again symptoms were not bad. That was 3 months ago and he still cannot run. He says his lungs feel like shredded paper. Doctors say they dont know when or if he will ever get back to where he was. So even though it may not kill you, it could very well cause perminant damage. But again, make whatever decision is best for you, just get as much information as you can. Dont rely on MIS-INFORMATION or other peoples opinion. Well stated and thoughtful reply. Prayers for your friend. Just got a text from a friend, a buddy of ours and his wife have both in the hospital for 3 weeks and he passed away last Friday. His wife was better and yesterday move to a regular room and today is back in ICU and now on a ventilator.

Sorry for your grandmother she will be in my prayers. I appreciate it. She has never had a health issue before and is not feeling all that bad at this time. My aunt and uncle both live next door to her also have it and he is diabetic with terrible liver issues. I am hoping and praying that all ends well with all of this.

If a person is going to have the inflammatory reaction which cause all the problems it will be form day 8-10 and that's where the trouble arises. Keep an eye on her

Exactly, best way to make a pandemic go away is change the testing protocol and quit talking about it and reporting on it. Worked great for Obama and Biden on swine flu. They just got the CDC to issue new guidance saying that testing was no longer needed and wallah, swine flu was gone. Here’s a question, if the false positives are a problem (and we’ve All known this for a long while) why is this just now coming out?. This is the CDC’s first time to formally mention/address false positives on the tests. I’ll tell you why, they increased the sensitivity on the tests to generate more positives in late summer and fall to hurt Trump and help push mail in voting.
