I’m going either way, Tuesday or Wednesday. I’ve always liked them overcast skies, especially when they bite. Gonna take
the ol man to snag some crappie. Tuesday is gonna be nice but I ain’t gonna be disappointed either way, I won’t be working.

Ok. Two weeks ago the wife and I were crappie fishing on Wheeler. Plenty of slabs when the sun was out. Clouds moved in and smaller fish and the bite almost shutoff. Don’t share many secrets. Love my Garland baits

Like them overcast days more in the summer than winter. We went last week and caught several slabs it was pretty cloudy and windy, Ol man went couple days before that on a bluebird and doubled what we caught

Given the two, I'll take cloudy every time. Y'alls water might not be as clear as it is over here. It's like fishing in an aquarium. Clear days are killing my fishing.

One of the best days I ever had crappie fishing was while it was snowing.

Berkley Gulps in shad or minnow are my go to bait. I have Garlands on the boat as well, but around Ditto I catch more on BG.

Started out cloudy this morning and bit pretty good.
Sun came out and they tightened up.
Clouds came back and finished our day out. Wish the sun
would have stayed in. Caught 15

Sounds pretty good to me. I went to Lay bass fishing Tuesday with the sun bright the whole time. Fished 6 hours and got 2 bites, caught 1.

I go to the lake from March to December and I expect to catch some. Sometimes I don't, but I expect to. When I go in January and February I expect to catch nothing and that's what usually happens. smile

But it beat sitting at home, and I was able to realize what a great upgrade the 24 volt trolling motor is for my boat. I can get off a stump without a problem now.

It’s tuff no doubt. I wish I could get up to Kentucky lake and fish with Ellis before March.
