Ok. Two weeks ago the wife and I were crappie fishing on Wheeler. Plenty of slabs when the sun was out. Clouds moved in and smaller fish and the bite almost shutoff. Don’t share many secrets. Love my Garland baits

Given the two, I'll take cloudy every time. Y'alls water might not be as clear as it is over here. It's like fishing in an aquarium. Clear days are killing my fishing.

Started out cloudy this morning and bit pretty good. Sun came out and they tightened up. Clouds came back and finished our day out. Wish the sun would have stayed in. Caught 15 Sounds pretty good to me. I went to Lay bass fishing Tuesday with the sun bright the whole time. Fished 6 hours and got 2 bites, caught 1. I go to the lake from March to December and I expect to catch some. Sometimes I don't, but I expect to. When I go in January and February I expect to catch nothing and that's what usually happens. But it beat sitting at home, and I was able to realize what a great upgrade the 24 volt trolling motor is for my boat. I can get off a stump without a problem now.
