Anywhere from 120 to 150 would be a close proximity. I’m curious of $ per pound of each category if you happen to know.

Some of you have no reading comprehension. He ask per pound cost, not per deer cost. I dont weigh my deer meat after a basic cut because you dont pay per pound that way.

I've been downing Weaver for years. But apprantly they have their act together. One of the best hunters I know is taking his there now. Used to be the mixed deer meat together and now I am assured you get yours back. Guess that will be who I use since LouAllens isn't doing deer now. Only a slight thread high jack but wanted to put that out there since I have dogged the so bad in the past. Thanks for the link FSH.

Some of you have no reading comprehension. He ask per pound cost, not per deer cost. 🤣🤣🤣 $120/lb If that’s the case then let me introduce y’all to “Ford’s Deer Processing”. Skinny, I’ll send in my sponsorship money shortly.

Yea ever since the old man stepped away and let that girl behind the register pretty much run it it’s been pretty squared away. You get your deer back, times are consistent, costs are way down. I haven’t paid over $100 for a deer yet since she’s been in charge and I get special cuts every time.

Skinny, I’ll send in my sponsorship money shortly. That’s pretty cheap compared to what my smoked venison/pork sausage costed me each year. I half arsed figured it out one year. I almost puked so I don’t even look at camp expenses anymore.

You can go the store and buy some good sausage and hamburger for those prices. What’s the fun in that. I love deer hunting and we love making sausage. It’s like a big family party when we make sausage. I just rather not know what it cost to make it.
