So our 16yo Samsung tv died today. Wanting to upgrade. Minimum 55” but thinking 65”. Want good quality but not spend 5k on a tv. Our kids have these smart tv’s but we still have cable. Maybe a good time to cut the cord. I know nothing about them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Stay with Samsung. You can get a really nice 65-70" 4k uhd at Costco for under or right at $1k.

TCL and LG can be bought really cheap. If you have to buy a new one every 4-5 years you’ll still be ahead of those high dollar units that aren’t made to last any longer

If you have good wifi in your home, you will enjoy having access to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.. I'm sure almost all new tvs come "smart" now.

TVs are nearly disposable now. You can get a good picture with n that size for a$400-500...sometimes even cheaper. When it dies, rinse and repeat.

I've got a 55" Samsung 4K that is under $400 now. Exactly! If you're replacing a 16 yr old tv, a $99 piece of junk will have a much better picture than the one you're replacing. They are disposable, if they are out of warranty, you ain't paying to fix it. I'm a Samsung fan, for $4-500 you can buy good big smart tv

We had a less than 2 yr old Samsung shitthebed a few months back. Now it was a 65” $1k one at the time we bought it. But that’s why we go cheap now

Another vote for Samsung. You just can't beat them. Now their appliances are junk
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??
