It has taken me about a month or more to get it done because I only worked on it on the weekends. Made of popular wood I bought from the Mennonite's in TN. Bout it all saw cut and planed all of it by hand. Never built anything in my life before now so think I didnt do half bad. Whatcha think.... Just after assembly.. Just stained.. 3 coats of poly.. I had the grandson of the owner go through and get out any salvageable heart pine. He's going to build me a huge farm table out of it.I'm going to show him this pic. I like the style.

Great looking product either way. There is something gratifying about creating something from raw materials. My grandfather says it puts you closer to GOD to work something with your hands and create a finished product. It does have a certain meditative affect for me. Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
