Kindof reminds me of my son seeing a fish swirl by the boat and getting excited about it. I always say "yep that was a three pound swirl right there." I guess Beer belly found him a pope & young rub.

I seen a rub like that one time here in Alabama. Nearby was a huge split tine and a 120-30 8 point. No telling where the deer maybe during the rut. May be in a freezer by now. Put a camera up and let us see the pictures.

Someone on here years ago, had a tree about that size rubbed. They hung a camera and had everything from basket racked 8s to spikes rubbing it.

Yep, I'm like I got a ton of rubs. Almost an addiction. Then I remember this is a deer website...

I don't remember if it was me but I did have a cedar tree about like that. I hung a camera and had 6 to 8 different bucks and sizes using it. It had scraps all around the area and they all used them as well. Community Rub and Scrapes I call them.

The super big ones are usually sign post rubs, every buck in the woods will rub them . I've seen a pine size of a basketball rubbed till it died. It was in fairly open timber and only little fellers would visit it in daylight.

I sat on one 3 days on a big cedar and watched the same little 4 pt spend a couple hours each day working it over.Big rubs on maples and beeches get my attention though.
