What’s a good inexpensive goose call. I have seen a ton of them and I’ve decided to try and pop one. They are flying just out of range. Any advice is appreciated on getting them in and in calling them. Thx

A zink power clucker is good enough. About $30.

Resident geese are tough to call unless you are set up very close to their feed. give it a whirl though

I have found that out! I haven’t used any decoys other than ducks. Does goose decoys help?

Decoy will help on residence geese (decoy 1-3) don’t over load on residence geese’s the flock has been going to the same locations for awhile. We hunt a few ponds when we have a spread 10-12 floaters and feeders they land in he area but away from us. When we use a single or 2 they land among them We think they can be spooked if they get a new crowd. Or no decoys at all. Hit a call once or twice and sit tight.

I use this one. It’s easy to learn in yet good enough to work well thru the years.
