Hell if it would put 3 or 4 7+ pound bass in my boat per yr, I'd order one. I spend wayyyyyy more than that chasing a dang deer for the wall each year.

I've got bad juju with expensive baits. The first expensive (to me) bait was a 8" Huddleston trout. I was fishing below morgan falls dam In atlanta for stripe. First cast. Sails right over the powerline and wraps around about 75 times. And since it was tied to 65lb powerpro braid, it ain't going anywhere. A buddy that lives close by was with me that day and still fishes the area. Just about every spring since then I get a picture from him of it still hanging up there. That cast was made about July 2012. Powerpro and Huddlestons are tough.

Most experienced swimbait guys don't use braid. . If you hear of someone slinging one off. Its almost always someone using braid with a leader. Either the knot fails between braid and fluorocarbon,or they backlash. Most old timers prefer mono. Buca uses Trick Fish Mono. Made by Triplefish. On those Mothers, let's swap gifts. Perch, How about a 30 acre glide shad? Scottsboro tackle is about 5 mins from me and one of the only places that keeps them in stock. They look as real as they get. They have bull shad too.

And I didn't sling that Huddleston off. I had to cut my line after it wrapped itself a million times around the powerline haha. In later years I use braid with a fluoro leader on just about everything.
