Listen, this thing has been up north most of its life and it has a lot of rust underneath. It has 201,537 miles on it. The breaks need MAJOR repair and the rear-end (axle) needs total replacement. It's been wrecked in the front-end bumper but the engine is in good condition and the transmission is good but hell, they both may go out tomorrow but it's a Toyota, so I doubt it!!! All was running very well until the rear-end axle went bad and in addition to the rear-end needing replacement, the breaks need a lot of work and so by the time I fixed the breaks and had another new or used rear-end replaced, it would have costs me more than the thing is worth. Anyway, I'm going to sell this thing for the motor and the transmission but the buyer agrees to take the whole vehicle.

The (front) 4X4 works great so you can drive it very slowly when you put it in 4WD Low. I switched out the tires so the tires on it now need replacing. The rims are good. Airbag in steering wheel deployed when the wreck happed but the radiator is working fine and nothing engine-related was damaged during the wreck. The vehicle was driven maybe a few thousand miles after the wreck as the tire alignment was fine and everything worked well after the wreck to the front-end bumper.

It's going to costs you to pay someone else to fix and probably more than it's worth, but if you're a mechanic and you can do all the work yourself, it'll be worth it. They're a great off road vehicle as I have a 1996 4-Runner I use to sneak-around in the woods with.

This thing sits in my driveway on the southern outskirts of B'ham (off Valleydale Rd; east of I65) so we'll have to schedule a time for buyer to load up and haul off. I have full title and sold as is.

I don't know exactly its value as a whole is, but I've looked at Toyota 4-Runner engines and transmissions For Sale, but I doubt anyone on Aldeer would need both engine AND transmission. I won't sell the vehicle less than buyer take all.

Too honest, huh? Well, I don't want to anyone to tell me after agreeing on price and getting here to p/u vehicle that "You didn't mention _____ or ____!" My full disclosure should not be an anomaly! And, in fact, I am in sales and my customers are life-time customers. They know I am 100% transparent with them and they trust my word and they won't consider going with a competitor. I've figured that at 56 yrs old, being honest keeps me worry free and pays off in the end.
