I'll love my ol 2003, with a 7.3. Not the cheapest to keep on the road, but its paid for. I'm not saying anything bad about it, but with 163'000 miles, its up for sale.

Nope, unless it was making me money. I have 2 5.9's that are strong both a 97 and 98 8' bed and manual. One has had upgrades and will flat out run, the other has zero mods.

you know what a Ford with that 7.3 in it will run you still today? more than the bank will loan on it...

I actually was seriously thinking about a 2001 F-350 with 7.3, low miles, something like 110k, great shape, Texas truck. guy wanted something like $30k, bank says we loan $12k

My stepfather bought it from an old couple out in Cody, WY in 2001. I have paperwork all the way back to the beginning. I'll keep it for hauling the boat and hunting or what not, but when I get out of dental school I'll get me a something a little updated.
