Had to wait on a cotton farmer to pick his cotton before I could finish out our plots. He finally got around to picking it but man those cotton stalks are tough on equipment. This is by far the latest I have ever put seed in the ground but with the warm temps and expected rain I think it will be just fine. 27 plots total with just over 32 acres. I am glad I only have to worry about this once a year.

Wow. That's a lot of work.
I put in a small one Monday.

Take the day off ! You deserve it.

I only had to plant 2 plots, the others have been in ground since mid October.

Did you plant just cereal grains? or did you have any brasiccas or clover in your mix?

The farmer that plants the section of his farm that I hunt on was busy cutting hay and didn't get to plant until last week while I was in Indiana. And it's already breaking through the warm moist soil.

Started to frost it with some rape on Monday, but wasn't sure how it would do this late?
