Mix a little maple syrup with dales steak marinade. You got shines whiteoak scent.

I used it a few times. I forgot to spray it several yards out away from me. I remembered after I'd already gotten into my climber so I just sprayed some at the base of the tree and climbed on up. Later on, I had a doe come in and sniff at the base of the tree. Will it attract a good buck, who knows?

For a few years I stored my clothes with those fresh earth and acorn wafers. It seemed like I was getting busted continuously. Went back to just using regular detergent (though I prefer scent free) and now I rarely get busted again. Keep those cover scents away from me.

I use Ecos or All unscented detergent and add 2 cups baking soda to wash. On 2 occasions where frost was on the leaves of vines in a cutover edge I had deer lick those leaves that I brushed up against on my walk in. I often wonder if the baking soda had an impact.

I heard a great explanation about scents.He said if he were hunting paper company land he would soak a rag in diesel fuel and hunt in mossy oak clear-cut camouflage ! There may be some validity to his words.
