Dumping syndrome after gallbladder removal is quite common. Get her doctor to prescribe welchol and that will solve the issue

Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Just Like James says. My wife has certain foods that don't stop to say hello on the way out.

What the @^%^% was that?

I had mine out about 7 yrs ago and eat what ever I want. I just always stay close to the toilet after eating. I can eat the same thing twice in a week and my stomach always reacts different each time.

I eat what I want. But there better be a bathroom close sometimes.

My wife had hers removed on a Friday and was back to seeing patients on Monday so recovery time can be fairly quick.

Or sometimes before you even finish eating.

I had mine removed about 20 years ago. Nothing really changed for me but I was misdiagnosed and 15 years later was finally diagnosed with celiac disease. After going TOTALLY gluten free I could eat without going straight to the restroom. This was a life changing diagnosis for the better. The good/bad thing about it is there are not medications to take it is totally controlled by your diet.

I had mine out in 2010. Recovery for me was my shoulder hurt like hell, Dr. said it was because of an air pocket or something (Don't remember). It was only the night after the surgery.

As far as food, I can pretty much eat anything I choose but some things bother me more than others. Like others have said real greasy food/spicy makes me a little nauseous and gives me diarrhea sometimes. I was lactose intolerant before my surgery but afterwards I don't know why but it doesn't bother me now.

Bathroom....For me I can go 2, 3, 4 times maybe in the mornings depends on how much fiber I've had or if I had eaten really greasy/spicy type foods the day before. After that I can eat whatever the rest of the day and not go to the bathroom but the next morning is when I usually pay the price.

I've had mine out for a few years. I can eat anything without issues.
