Looking for opinions on the best electric 4x4, 4 seater cart to buy that can climb hills. Any advice would be appreciated.

We've got 2 beast 48's we bought used. No fires. No other major issues that would be specific to it being a beast. Either battery related or hub related only issues we've had to deal with.

Had a Stealth 4x4 with no problems. Just remember it's not a tank it's a modified golf cart. Great to ease around on if land/terrain permits.
To your question..............hills kill batteries for the amount of current the batteries give up to go up them.
This is why I went to gas.
A hybrid like the Bad Boy or Polaris if they make one might be an option?

Got a gas one already so this will be a backup to use just for going hunting. Just a curious thought I know range is always the issue if you go with electric, could a generator be used to charge the batteries if you took it on a trip and needed to charge?

Yes, no problem with using a generator as long as it's big enough. I ran a 30 amp cart charger off a 2200 watt generator for years.

There has to be some aftermarket lithium battery replacements for elective carts that would significantly extend range. Maybe $$$.

Nevermind - looked em up.......... For $6,000 you could 2-3x the range. haha

This is where we may see some significant changes in technology in the future. Batteries.

Generators and battery chargers usually don’t mix well.

Why??? Golf cart chargers run off 110 power. I agree with preacher. Most generators should be able to handle a battery charger.
