Youngest daughter(12) sat with my Dad, saw a couple of does, but nothing she wanted to shoot.

Oldest daughter (13) sat with me, We had a spike show up early and that sealed his fate, LOL. She let him walk around till close to dark to make sure an upgrade wasn't available, but he had to die. 1st on the season and was a nice little poke of about 125yds. Now that she's satisfied that itchy finger, it's on to bigger bucks (hopefully).

Smiles and high fives were in abundance, and fresh meat for the grease. 2020 just got a little better.

Sorry guys, been busy redoing the floors in my house thanks to Laura and Delta. Made a trip last week and scratched. Wasn’t going to go to the camp my next days off but this weather they are calling for just might change my mind. Should finish the floors today and I will make a decision by Wednesday. Good luck!!

He walked out into a plot with another 8pt. I knew he was a heavy deer but didn’t think he was that heavy. Not bad for my first kill of the season.

I missed a shot opportunity on another good buck yesterday afternoon. I was hunting a big hill at the T of 2 roads in some 5yr old pines. I had what I think is the smaller 8pt that was with the one I killed Friday walk out with a smaller buck on the rd to my left. I stayed watching them thinking something else may come out. I decided to look down the rd in front of me and all I saw was that ass end of him and white antlers. I was able to get the scope on him just as he rounded the curve and stepped out of sight. I know they all look bigger from behind but from what I could tell he was a good one. Hopefully I will see him again. Was a fun afternoon in the stand.

Got us an upgrade today. Killed a 200lb 10pt.
