I have a good friend that has rifle he is wanting to sell to fund another project..he is in Tuscaloosa asking $800 and the buyer pays the 3% since he's not a member..yet
Remington 700 .308 full bull barrel, upgraded fiberglass stock with aluminum bed. Comes with Zeiss Conquest 4.5x15x50 he said the rifle has a 26" barrel..
This is the info he sent me..
It may be the Varmint model. Not really sure.
It does have the 26” bull barrel. The stock was purchased through “Stocky’s.”
It’s their “Long Range Hunter” model. It’s one of their high end models. Fiberglass with aluminum bed. Upgrading the stock allowed the barrel to “free float”
When sighted in, its extremely accurate. On good days, I’ve shot through the same hole in 3 shots

OP says it's 26" ... although that seems awful long for a factory .308. I know the 5R mil-spec only has a 24" barrel
