[Linked Image] I followed the instructions, Hung my lure in a log jam went to retrieve and saw this container and could tell it had some writing on it [very dirty] so i pulled it out of log jam and to my surprise it it is a man's ashes , put it in middle of river and wished him well on his trip; which i figure will take years

That's the coolest thing I've ever heard found in the river. Good on you seeing those wishes thru. That is truly awesome

I'm really not trying to be an asshole, but why is the fact he had some issues pertinent to this thread?

Probably just stating that due to his age. In other words, suicide. Most of the time people wonder why someone died at a young age. Just part of the story

Age and why/how were the first things I thought about when I saw it. Cool find!

Pretty sure that’s the guy that drowned up there around 15. Heard he jumped out of a boat moving at a high rate of speed and never came back up. I think it was something he had done several times. This time it didn’t go well. RIP

Pretty cool.one of my shipmates was killed in a help crash. He was a Japanese glass ball collector and we found hundreds but anyway, his ashes were placed in a glass ball and tossed in the Gulf if Alaska
