Most of us don’t agree with the direction that the DCNR is going. How do we make our voices be heard and get certain people out?

Go to the CAB meeting. En masse. Every single person sign up to speak.
Every single person speak about the lack of confidence in the leadership.
Start a petition online. Send it to the gov and legislative leadership.

I'm following chuck's example. Make up my own rules.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Do they have any hunting regulations?

I have before and left my contact information for them to reach back out to me. My letter must’ve gotten lost in the mail.

I hope you are not hunting in a county that has a 13" minimum spread. I hated that rule. Who knows how many 12" bucks are left in the field.

Maybe a new governor, that could appoint a new director, might be a fine start? Aunt Bea ain't my idea of a good leader...

I emailed Chuck about the baiting permit. My main objection was that it cost $51 for a non resident and that there was no exemption for under 16. I told him that if it had been $15, like residents, that I would have bought it. The fact that it is $51 and I was going to have to buy 3-4 if I put up a feeder kept me from buying it. Basically, they could have made $45 more off of me , but I'd skip the feeder if it was going to cost me $153.

I was surprised that he actually emailed me back. I'm not sure I would have gotten a return email from other states Executive Director. He said the baiting permit and the cost of is was set by the legislator and that his hands were basically tied on it. Not sure if thats true or not, but I appreciated the response.
