Why are they extending deadline? That’s not what caused crash. I can’t imagine 100k folks jumping on the OA website at 1245 to beat the deadline and that caused this. My son registered at 10am with no problem.
Dr. B Yes it is. It’s crashed 4 times in the last year on very busy website days.

^^^^^^well if so, they need to take some of that bait privilege $ and invest in some IT. Freaking ridiculous. Now I gotta wait til weekend to get my rejection notice. 😂

So to me the bigger question is, those of us who did or were able to log in and see a rejection.......I guess those are invalid now and there will be a re-draw? I don't think so. Per their facebook post it seems that the draw went right, the server just got bogged down with everyone logging in to check their draw results. So the draw status you had when you first checked SHOULD be the same when they get the page back online. But we'll see if that holds up lol

Dr. B Yes, that actually seems to be the rule rather than the exception. Most people don't even know if they've been selected. And Coosa is right. The facebook page was pretty adamant that the deadline was only extended to either accept or deny. But I would be shocked if everyone's selection status remains in play honestly. I am kinda looking for them to come out tomorrow and say that they are just gonna do the entire ordeal over again.

I think everyone is chosen, it’s just a matter of notifying everyone now. If they did a re-draw, it’s going to multiply the shitshow.

Why would they encourage people to register for those areas if there was no chance of getting selected? That’s kinda out of whack. It could have crashed so bad they lost all the registrations and we have till the 20th to reregister. Until it’s up again it might as well have never happened.

I'm able to get on the site now.
Edit: and my previous selections were all the same.

I was able to get to the page but it cannot find me by my DOB and CID number. Says I don’t exist. Obviously you're not in the clique. 😉
