I'm not happy with ya'll sending me to cigarbid.com. Sure fire way for me to spend too much money on cigars. But those prices are really great on some things that I like so thanks at the same time!

there's a cigar place in Pelham, right there at that Home depot Exit, right at co rd 52 (I think)...anyway before we got moved in I stopped in there...paid $18 for 2 Rocky Patel. got them home and they had never been turned. the things burned uneven to the point I had to cut it and start over...I called the guy I said..man you have got to turn those cigars, they're drying out on one side...bad idea. same cigars on CB...$2.50 and fresh.

I’ve never done any cigar ordering over the internet. I am going to have to try it as the prices seem to be way better than the local shop. Thanks for the info.

I actually already purchased some Oliva V Melanio's for over half off what I pay here and got my eye on some other different ones that I might go ahead and order. Oliva serie V is a really quality inexpensive smoke. I keep them for guests and for when I've drank too much to enjoy a 'good' cigar haha. I appreciate the info for the site, it's fun watching those FreeFall prices.

I can't go into a brick and mortar cigar shop nowadays. quality, price, selection...all suck once you shop cigarbid. it's gonna spoil you.

If someone regularly brought you Cubans to smoke would that be against the rules still and would you actually say that on a public forum or is there some stupid law.? Where someone would cry foul and tell you that's ground for search and seizure, etc.

Asking for a friend.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Not 100% sure. I do know that in our old county the Sheriff would regularly show up to hang with my parents and bring Cubans. He wasn't too worried about it haha. Many a good nights were had with him.

my understanding is -- if they acquired & possess them legally, it's perfectly fine now ... apparently some of the stringent rules have relaxed a bit ... perhaps it has to do w/Trump enjoying a cigar from time to time

the embargo is still in place in the US -- so you won't be able to purchase a Cuban at a smoke shop here - BUT apparently you can purchase outside the US & bring them in through Customs (a certain amount)

not illegal to go somewhere else and bring them back. just can't buy them if you're physically IN the US. either in a store or online. My last deployment to Bahrain, I bought a trainload and brought them back. But I gotta tell you, Nicaraguan, Honduran..Dominican Republic,,,all rival Cubans, my humble opinion

On the ship and in my travel humidor I have some Flor de las Antilles by My Father’s Cigars, Series O and G by Oliva, Jacob’s Ladder Fire and Brimstone and Cedrus by Southern Draw. I recommend checking out Southern Draw cigars, they have some good Nicaraguan sticks and stand for many of the things some of us do. As stated earlier Nicaraguan and some Honduran sticks make Cubans not so attractive.

agreed; the bloom is off the cigar flower - Cuban's are now more of a nostalgic/mythical beast IMHO

Ive smoked all forms of tobacco and ill say, that when its good, there is nothing better than smoking a pipe when its in its sweet spot. its just hard to keep a pipe perfectly seasoned with the right moisture and temperature. but I like cigars pretty good too.
